1 Understanding Marriage And The Advantage Of Being Single

God made man before he made the Garden of Eden! This is very important. Adam was made outside the Garden of Eden and brought into it by God. God made man and the making of that man and how willing he is ready to be made; determine the size, length and width of his life garden of Eden of this life.

The deeper and thorough a man allows himself to be made by God, the better and better his life and home and ministry! It is also crucial to the nature and type of wife God can give to him. For God cannot cast his precious pearls of his daughter or son to a mere pig in the name of marriage!

A lady that has spent her life investing into her spiritual life; building herself up in the most holy faith and attending conferences, consistent prayers, scriptural meditation and living holy and pure, went to schools and masters, will certainly knock off spiritual husband and marital stagnancy. Any man who is in Christ he is a new creation but it takes time, real good time to mature and to grow the new life and learn the marriage life too!

…..And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. From our text, we see what God did with the rib he took from the man even Adam [AMP] (Genesis 2:22)

When he took it, Adam was fast asleep and very unconscious. God took it all the same and he likes and prefers it that way. He seems to frown at those who comes active and living telling him what to do and even how when this sleep of death is not acknowledge and agreed upon. Adam seems death and inactive at this time when God operated on him!

The rib God took was like that of a death man. Then it was a big minus. It was a subtraction from the man to take away his rib even if it is one! To collect a rib from Adam reduced him. He was no longer complete but the ‘death’ rib was going to come back larger better and complementary!

I have always believe that correct Christian marriage is the coming together if death individual from one end the man; God had put the sleep of death and on the other side God has also used a death rib to make the woman! Wherefore the both parties all died in Christ and live as resurrected ones together in marriage! This is a marriage to seek for! May you have one like this in Jesus name.

“Marriage will manifest your imperfection” The most important foundation for relationship is found in this statement. The most important relationship in life is not inter-personal relationship but intra-Personal relationships. What do i mean by that?

The most important relationship in life is not the relationship with another person; it’s the relationship with your-self. Most of you hates yourself and want someone to live with you. Most of you can’t get along with yourself and you want somebody to get along with you. If you hate your face, hate your nose, hate your ear, hate your bow-leg, hate your fat-face, hate your fake lips, and hate your hips. Why do you want me to love it? Self love is the most important love on earth.

If you don’t love “you” why should I? Self-knowledge is the key to a successful relationship. In order word, most of you want to know other people and don’t know yourself. You think you do! Let me ask you a question and please don’t answer it.

“If you knew all you know about yourself, would you marry you? Think about it.

How does your breath smell in the morning? How about your shoe and toes after you walk for a while? How about the smell of your stocks? Do you want me to live with that? We never think about what we asking people to do. “would you marry you, if you knew you, the way you know you? Showing impatience, temper, don’t obeying enough, eat too much, secrets sins. “Would you marry you? Just a question!

Some Single Thought About Marriage

There are many wrong impression or wrong mindset from many singles about marriage which has led many into wrong decision, wrong choice and wrong marriage.

1. You Don't Need To Be Marrying Just To Fulfill God's Purpose For Your Life:

That is a shock to someone of you. Marriage is not just all about fulfilling God’s purpose in life, it is more beyond that. Understanding your reason for existance and God’s plan/will for your life will help you maintain your track and purpose of God for your life.

We are different in the hand and in the plan of God, this is why having a personal good and holy relationship with God will distinguishe your mindset and priority from others.

1 Corinthian 7, it says “If a man or a woman are unmarried, they do well, for they can give God 100% of their time but for a man marry or woman marries, he would have to cut his time with God and give it to his spouse”

In order word, when you get marry, it literally takes away the commitment of your purpose. Many people actually lose their purpose because they got marry, because they marry someone who stops them from fulfilling God’s purpose for their life.

Some of you are doing well right now. You sing in the choir, you attends prayer meeting, you always in Bible studies, you always reporting to church for activities, getting involve in the ministry and then suddenly you marry a “Bomb” that wouldn’t want to come to church.

And now he stops you from coming to prayer meeting, he stops you from coming to choir practice. He didn’t want you to go to church every week and he began angry at the pastor and he is now competing with the pastor and now you got to stay at home because you marry someone who took you out of God’s will.

Don’t rush into Marriage. It’s not the perfect way to fulfill God’s will. Most of the people in the world, who impacted the world were unmarried — Am not against marriage, don’t get me wrong. But I am against you using it to try to solve your loneliness problem. Marriage doesn’t solve loneness but it only exposes it.

If you don’t believe me, you ask the woman sit next to you who is married but no working out. The loneliness place in the world is to be married and not getting along. You are trapped, nothing is worst to be married and be alone. Paul says, 1 Corinthians 7 “If you are unmarried remain that way for those who get marry have many troubles”

Some of you can’t wait to get into any trouble. You are praying “Ooh God please sent me trouble, Please God in the name of Jesus, i want my trouble to come quickly Lord, Let the trouble come now” i can hear you praying that prayers right now!

2. Marriage Is A Choice And Not A Requirement:

There is no enforcing command in the Bible for you to get marry by force, so why do the some religious church people, your family members, your friends put pressure on you? I got marry at the age of 25 and it was completely calculated. I decided I am not going to get marry until i complete my master’s degree.

Because i discovered that the more you develop yourself, the more of the blessing you can be to somebody. The more value you add to yourself, the more value you bring to someone life. Marriage is a choice, not a requirement. Can i make you aware of something the Lord told me one day when i was teaching in a seminar on marriage?

He said this words, “the reason why many are not yet marry is because i am protecting people from them (let me say it again) The Lord says, “The reason why many of you are not marry yet is because i am protecting people from you, because you are not prepared”

You are not spiritually mattured,You are not valuable, not developed yourself. You have not advance yourself, not educated yourself, not learnt enough to know how to be a blessing to someone, so am protecting them from you (it’s not a requirement). To Be Continue In Third Series.
