The sin of lies has crippled the life of many Christians. It has left some in self bondage due to ignorant. Sin is always a sin irrespective of it nature. The sin of lies might seem too simple to overlook but likewise a time bomb. It destroyed Christian legacy in Heavenly kingdom. Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

During my days while in the world I always glory in telling lies because I was addicted unto it. it serves as a stigma unto my body because I find it terrible hard to overcome. I still recall during those era’s whenever I decided and concluded that I won’t uttered any lies in my statement for a specific day, unfortunately I always behold myself exploring great deals and contracts in lies.

The spirit of lies is a very strong evil spirit that required spiritual devotion and sanctification of heart to uproot. However after I eventual yield unto salvation the evil yokes of lies was the first supernatural encounter the Lord has to dealt in my life. The Lord first broke the yokes of lying spirit in my tongues because I specifically petitioned it unto prayers because overcoming the spirit of lies required divine spiritual intervention.

Presently one of the most hateful sins I dispersed in the life of Christians in lies because it always seems easy to tell but mighty and destructive. The act of lying always destroyed ones confident and self-image and whenever the truth eventual unveiled itself, because it must surely reveal itself (the scripture can’t be broken) Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. In such scenario you will lost your dignity.

However you might pretend and keep dwelling in lying ventures but you ought to understand that the truth must surely reveal itself someday and when it does, none can ever trust or confide in you because everyone love truthfulness. Even the kingdom of darkness don’t dwells in lies. They always portrayed truthfulness in their social dealings which always enabled them to achieved and maximized their diabolic practices.

Hence I keep imagining, if demonic and witchcraft kingdoms can equipped themselves in honesty while the horn of salvation, the light of the world and the first born of God’s kingdom, the Christian who are supposed to be a teacher and mentor unto the world are now dwelling in lies.

Jesus Christ: Yes, you did a great exploits and also won 5,000 souls but look at the screen.

Pastor Charlie: My Lord, this is a glorious mansion and splendors crowns with sparkly stars.

Jesus Christ: Charlie, that is your mansion and crown of a soul winner but you can’t enter my kingdom because you are a liar.

Pastor Charlie: (Pastor Charlie in tears sobbing) Lord, please show me mercy. I thought you have forgiven me.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Depart from me; ye worker of iniquity; i know you not.

My beloved one in Christ, i don’t know what “lies” you are secretly concealing all this years. Perhaps, you thought that God has forgiven you because of that crocodile tears and prayers you shed in your bed-room. Probably you thought there is no need to expose that “lies”; after-all God will understand. I preach the gospel everyday and already won about 50 souls.

Either you believes it or not; there is need to confessed and exposed that erroneous wickedness you wrought against someone years ago. Though, you may assume that God has forgiven but the earth will never forget; until it bears witness of your godliness through restitution. Therefore it’s time to restitute because on the great Judgment day of the Lord, many shall be guilty as charged.

When you confess the secret sins of stealing, false accusations, lies and sexual immoralities, it brings about an internal spiritual relief. The sinful burden of guilt will be uplifted from your heart and the devil will be disgraced and crushed into shame. If you can’t amount the guts to expose your secrets sin, due to shame or fear, that means, you’re not worth to carry the cross,

Because the cross comprises a huge lots of shame and reproach, and this is exact reason why we were called Christians. We are special people who are redeemed and not afraid, shy or ashamed of our past sinful life, but ever ready to confess it to the whole world as a divine testimonies of our true conversion.
